Hi,
In an effort to reduce the number of lines coming from the camera we are using, I'm attempting to convert the LVDS coming out of the camera to FPD-Link III (or any low-conductor output) using the DS90UB947-Q1. We will be streaming at 720p/60 or 1080p/30. Attached is a non-detailed timing diagram of what is happening at the output of the camera. I've also attached a diagram of the interface. This is new territory for us, so any information would be helpful.
Questions:
1) Would I be able to use the product above or a similar product that TI has to achieve my objective?
2) Eventually, if I were to have multiple FPD-Link III lines does TI have a product I can use to MUX the signals so that I can choose the FPD-Link III source before deserializing?
3) Knowing my objective, can you offer any suggestions for products (I've been also looking at: DS90UB927Q)?
