Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2051, , TPS2051B
I want to use TPS2051 in an USB OTG application.
When configured as Device the USB Power is supplied from the USB Connector and the TPS2051C is disabled.
When the device is disabled the Output Discharge Resistor gets active, which will result in a contious current through the power switch. (5V 470R 50mW Power Dissipation).
For me its Ok to have this power dissipation, but could the device handle this continous current through the discharge resistor?
I can not choose a "-2 device"like TPS20xxC-2 because I want to limit the USB current to 1A.
Thanks for quick answer.
