Hello E2E,

We have a board that is using the DP83867IR Ethernet Physical Layer Transceiver.

The RJ45/magnetics are Halo HFJ12-1GO1ER-L1.

Wondering if you see any issues with using these magnetics with the PHY.

And could you provide any insight on proper magnetics connections/wiring please?

    Hi Russell,

    The center taps must be connected to ground through decoupling cap.
    Also, all the center taps must be isolated from each other.
    The Halo mag that you point to has center taps all shorted together.
    You need to find one that does not have that configuration and instead has isolated center taps.
