SN75ALS181: Abs Max Rating for D, DE, and RE_B inputs

Part Number: SN75ALS181

Hi Team,

The absolute maximum rating of D, DE and RE_B inputs shows MAX 7V. Is there MIN value regarding to the absolute maximum rating? I found input clamp voltage at the datasheet, but I'm not sure this corresponds to the absolute maximum rating. Thank you for your help.

    Thank you for your question.
    Unfortunately this is an old device and we do not have data on hand for the absolute minimum rating on the logic pins. For our newer devices, like the THVD15XX family and others, we specify -0.3V for this rating. I would recommend to you this same value for the SN75ALS181 device, that you do not exceed -0.3V on the logic pins.
    Does this help? Do you have a particular application example that would go beyond this limit?
