Hi Team,

I would like to ask following two questions.

1)
The datasheet shows AUXN pin requires a 100K resistor to DP_PWR (3.3V).
I believe DP_PWR should be applied after VCC is applied because of Absolute Maximum Ratings.
Is my understanding correct?







2)
The datasheet doesn't show detail of DP_PWR.
Does it indicate power supply of "DP1.4 GPU" in Figure 28?
If the answer is yes, is it possible to use specific 3.3V supply that isn't power supply of "DP1.4 GPU"?

    Yaita,

    1)There is no timing requirements for DP_PWR and Vcc. Even if both come up at the same time, the limit of the Absolute Maximum Ratings is not broken. In other words, Vcc + 0.5 is not equal to 0.5 before power up of TUSB1046A-DCI.

    2) In figure 28 DP_PWR is sourced from DP 1.4 GPR but can have a different source or "specific 3.3V supply" that does not come from DP 1.4 GPU. Do make sure that this source comes up before AUX transactions start to in sure the correct biasing of AUXN.
