Hi

We have used MPC860T processor in our application. for our application we are using 10/100Mbps Ethernet port with Intel PHY DJLXT971ALE. Now we are re-desining the PHY section with TI DP83848VYB-HLQFP-48 with MII configuration.

The above mentioned part doesn't have "TX_ERR" pin but in MPC860T ETH controller have this pin. Currently i have interfaced this section as per TI Application recommendation.

Please clarify whether this will give any problem?
