HD3SS3212: Large 'out-of-spec' Impedance variation a little bit of a concern

Part Number: HD3SS3212

We are seriously considering using this part in our USB3.1 Gen 2 channel. In an s-parameter model supplied by TI the Ins Loss looks OK up to 4-5GHz but has a roll-off after that, a fairly minor concern- since most of the other parts of the channel were much better. [At 7.5GHz IL is worse than 22in of cable.]

But the impedance profile was a bit more of a concern with excursions of Zdiffmin/max 60ohms/120ohms at the USB recommended Tr=40pS. This seemed a bit extreme - and certainly explains most of the roll off after 5GHz. My question is 1) Is the S-parameter model I have accurate/real? Has it been correlated?.. is the DiffZ really that extreme? 2) Should I be concerned given that a) it is a fairly short discontinuity however b) the spec for USB3.1 Gen2 is 86ohms +/- 10ohms.

Any insight or suggestions would be helpful.
