Our customer is working with DS125DF111 and is seeing some problems with the adaptive configuration of the CTLE.
Immediately after power and initialization, the adaptive CTLE sets itself to a value that results in a bad eye and errors on the link. The customer increases the horizontal threshold, which usually forces a restart of the CTLE. After that, the problem is avoided. The customer suspects this problem comes from the fact the incoming signal is not stable at power up.
Is there a better way to handle this?
