Hi,

I am using TUSB320EVM for testing purpose. Please let me know the method to configure CSR registers of TUSB320 IC when EVM is connected to PC through microAB port J6 via USB-A to Micro-B cable.

Are you configuring the EVM in DFP, DRP, UFP?

CURRENT_MODE_ADVERTISE: set this register to what current you want the a type c cable to pull from the EVM.

DRP_DUTY_CYCLE: leave at default.

DEBOUNCE: leave at Default

MODE_SELECT: do not change use the PORT pin to change the devices mode.

DISABLE_RD_RP: leave as default.

Thanks for your response.

I am configuring EVM in DFP mode. Can you suggest the method for configuring (Any tool to be used for programming TUSB320 through I2C when connected to PC) the CURRENT_MODE_ADVERTISE register when EVM is connected to PC through microAB port J6 via USB-A to Micro-B cable.

In our labs we use the Aardvark I2C/SPI Host Adapter to program I2C registers using our computers.
