TPS65987D: VCONN Status

Dear Ti Sirs

We are planning to include TPS65987D in stead of TPS65982. Now we are checking TPS65987D's registers and their definitions and contents. We could not find any register giving information about VCONN status (Enable or Disable). TPS65982 this information could be read from Register 0x1A:STATUS, bit 7:VconnEnabled. Now this seems to be dropped from document SLVUBH2 /May 2018.

Could you please inform from where VCONN Status can be read.

    Hello Pekka,

    VCONN status can be read from the Power Path Status register (0x26) as PP1_Cableswitch or PP2_Cable switch. You can find this information by going to the technical reference which can be found under the technical documents tab of the TPS65987D product page.
