DS99R106: Using an FPGA as a transmitter - DCA and DCB bits

The documentation does not clearly describe the over the wire protocol, particularly the DCA bit and DCB bit. I'd like to use just the receiver and transmit with an FPGA as I don't have sufficient pins on the FPGA to use the DS99R105 serializer. Is any more information available? It shouldn't be too complicated. Has anyone gotten this to work?

Are you trying not to use the DCA and DCB bits but just use the data bits?

The DCA and DCB bits are used for data integrity validation and DC balancing the data stream. They are both integrated and performed automatically within the serializer and deserializer.

I'd like to know how to drive the DCA and DCB bits without using an FPGA rather the transmitter chip.
