TMDS181: TMDS181 for CAT5 and CAT1 cable?

Dear Sir:

               Does TMDS181 can support CAT5 and CAt6 cable? How many length cable does it can support? BTW , If we just need timing of 4K2K 30HZ  , Can we though HW to setting  TMDS181 without I2C?

    Hi Jason,

    We have not validated the TMDS181 with CAT5/6 cabling. TMDS181 can support 4K2K 30Hz (or lower) and 4K2K 60 Hz without I2C - it will automatically adjust clock rate and terminations.
