DS90UB953-Q1: DS90UB953/954/964

Part Number: DS90UB953-Q1

Dear TI Experts,

I am now using DA90UB953 + DS90UB954, and when I test for a long time, their will be a frame drop, And when collecting images on a car,the frame drop situation is more frequent~

The data flow we test using 953 and 954:

when their is some error in the data flow:

                    register                   value

954                  0x7a                       0x02

954                  0x7b                       0x02

954                  0x37                       0x03

953                  0x52                       0x65

when anything is OK in the data flow:

                     register                     value

954                  0x7a                       0x00

954                  0x7b                       0x00

954                  0x37                       0x00

953                  0x52                       0x45

Can you help to find out what's wrong with DS90UB954?thank you~

Another question,About POC Circuits, do we have 12V output voltage,o.6A current reference design?Or do we have documents describe how to design POC circuits?

  • Generally, your link has high bit error between UB953 and UB954. You can check:

    1. PoC network design, and PoC voltage stability?

    2. UB954's lock detection indication through pin or reg (please read UB954's d/s on lock status register)

    3. Analyze the link fidelity, such as transmission channel SI, supply noise, etc.

You can visit www.ti.com/FPD-Link on high speed link knowledge and PoC design skill.

    regards,

    Steven
