DS90UB948-Q1: pattern mode

Hi Fawn,

As long as your PCLK is less than 170MHz, the DS90UB948 should be able to support this. You can calculate the exact PCLK you would need with this formula:

PCLK = (Horizontal Lines + Overhead) x (Vertical Lines +Overhead) x fps

If you use internal clock for 1920x1200, you can set this resolution in ALP tool. but due to internal PCLK limitation, the FPS can not be up to 60fps.
You can try the external PCLK to get 1920x1200@60fps if needed.
but for display panel, generally you don't need 60fps when running pattern test.

This is GUI, if you select internal timing, you can select different clock after scrolling down the menu.

yes, you can use custom resolution.
