TUSB9260: TUSB9260 seems to be holding GRST low.

I have a new design using the TUSB9260. I noticed that "platform reset" on the design was never going high. Lifting pins one at a time that are connected it turned out to be the TUSB9260. When I lifted pin 4 (GRST) the platform reset signal went high. Do I just have a bad device or is there something internal to the chip that could cause this? This is the first of the 2 protos I powered up.

Internally GRSTz should be pulled up internally.

Could you provide me with a schematic to clarify this issue?

Well, it appears to have just been a bad chip. We finally got around to working on this board again and I replaced it. The reset gets released as designed.

Now that we got past the reset issue, the T2081 does not see the 9260 on the USB bus. What should we be looking at?

Lee,

I believe it is not seeing the terminations. Is there any reason to not use the TUSB9261 over the TUSB9260? The TUSB9260 is not recommended for new designs.

No, not this specifically. We are seeing the USB device now. My programmer is still waiting for the Linux version to program the EEPROM. The standard version runs on Windows.
