Hello,

My customer has a question about LMH1983 Status pins.

I'm sorry for a strange question.

[Q]

They want to state the status pins (NO_REF, NO_LOCK, NO_ALIGN pins) as Low, when turning on the power and turning off the power.

Is it possible ?

[My understanding]

I think It is impossible for the following reasons.

* These pins are CMOS outputs.

* That logic should be High, when turning on the power.

You are correct. I suggest to add a gate/switch between each LMH1983 status output and the receiver device input, if they want don't want to drive the receiver during the system power-up/-down cycles.
