I have configured the DP83848 PHY for Auto negotiation disable, Full duplex, 10Mbps mode by connecting AN_EN & AN1 to ground through 2.2k resistor and AN0 is open. I am reading 0x0100 on Basic Mode Control Register (BMCR) register. Same time I am reading 0x7849 on Basic Mode Status Register (BMSR). The BMSR register indicates PHY is configured for 100Mbps & Auto negotiation. The PHY is not getting configured for strap setting. What could be the reason for this difference? How I can resolve this issue?
