DS90UB913A-Q1: PRBS7 pattern generator function

913A can put out a pseudo-random sequence (PRBS pattern in 2 different ways)

1. If the Inputs are all zeros (or not driven) then the output data is a PRBS pattern (equivalent to a PRBS14 data pattern due to inbuilt scrambler)

2. Conversely the part can be configured in a BIST mode and the part puts out a PRBS pattern

I could understand 913A can put out PRBS14 pattern but it is NOT PRBS7 which specified in datasheet condition.

Can the customer use PRBS14 pattern for jitter inspection usage?

If it can't use, could you advise how the customer should check the jitter meets the spec?
