Is it possible to disable the BC on FPD-III links?
Background: I want to extend the range of the FPD-III FC by a buffer/equalizer similar to Extending the Reach of a FPD-Link II Interface With Cable Drivers and Equalizers. As the communication for FPD-III is bidirectional I want to disable the BC to allow for unidirectional communication.
I did not find an option in the register to disable the BC.
