DP83630 can you set fixed MAC to it?

When encountering a network storm, we used to judge the network data by software and then filter the MAC. Now we want to filter the MAC by PHY.

    Hi Wang,

    MAC address is a property of the MAC used along with the PHY. DP83860 does have the ability to use a fixed MAC address but that is applicable only for PHY Control Frames. This is not used in normal communication. In normal communication the address coded in the MAC (uP/uC/FPGA) will be used.
