What is the relation between the scope picture and the previous E2E question? Is it measured on the same setup?

If the PHY working in 10Mbps mode and connected to a link partner?

I do not have that information. I believe this to be a measurement error, but don't want to make that assumption.

Hi,

10Mbps idle pattern has a flat component in its waveform but its not a square wave. Which is why we would need to know where they are measuring both waveforms? Also is customer facing any issues due to this?

Hi everyone,

I received a little bit more information from the customer this morning and I would like to find out from you what additional information do we need to help solve this issue.

Signals taken at TX+ vs TX- (short wires) shown in the picture below
My signal is 10Mbps Manchester coding when the chipset goes into 10Mbps.
Pink trace from the previous posting waveform is the Txclk, yes.

Hi John,

Is this still open? The conclusion was that there may be some setup issue on customer side.

Also, what is the issue faced by customer? Is it no link, packet errors, cable reach etc?

Hi Aniruddha,

On a previous message I have attached a diagram of where the customer was measuring the eye diagram like you asked and I added some additional information that they shared. I am asking you if you have any information you can share on how they should perform this test or if they are testing it at the correct location what debugging steps should they try so that they can get a proper measurement.
