DS90UB948-Q1EVM: Is the BOM matched the lastest EVM ?

Hi all

       About the DS90UB948-Q1EVM, I have two questions:

       1. The part number of J1 is D4S20D-40ML5-Y in the BOM, but when  I check the Rosenberger list,the "Y" of D4S20D-40ML5-Y is error, please help check it, because Rosenberger can't find the terminal of line.

       2. Is the BOM of EVM matched to the latest  DS90UB948-Q1EVM?

       3. Also, is the BOM of EVM matched to the latest  DS90UB947-Q1EVM?

       4. Rosenberger said the line of Dacar535 can be replaced to Dacar538, please help check it.

    Please check below comments:

    TI: this is old EVM board, but the connector could be updated by Rosenberger, they should be compatible with new part from Rosenberger. anyway, this is for evaluation in lab only, you can check any dacar535 cable which can be inserted into this connector.

           2. Is the BOM of EVM matched to the latest  DS90UB948-Q1EVM?

    TI: the user guide BOM is matched with the EVM mentioned in the document.

           3. Also, is the BOM of EVM matched to the latest  DS90UB947-Q1EVM?

    TI: ? anyway, please note: the user guide BOM is matched with the EVM mentioned in the document.

           4. Rosenberger said the line of Dacar535 can be replaced to Dacar538, please help check it.

    TI: you can select any cable, but the cable spec. should catch the UB947/UB948 link design request which is listed in d/s.

    1. If check the cable with connector,it is very difficult.
    3.Sorry,I want to know the user guide BOM of DS90UB947-Q1EVM is matched the DS90UB947-Q1EVM?
    4.The datasheet said the cable would be used Dacar538, but Rosenberger said the line of Dacar535 can be replaced to Dacar538, Can I use Dacar535?

    sorry I can't understand your questions well.
    regarding the cable, it is the coding "Z" in your picture, it is STQ plug, you can check it with rosenburger.
    in our lab, 535 is used for verification.

    sorry, we have no EVM board in hand. but it is STP plug connector. you can use STP jack cable with the coding "Z". do you have the EVM board?
