Are there any ways to reset/clear the LINE_COUNT_0/1 and LINE_LEN_HI/LO registers?

Ken,
no, you can't reset 0x73-0x76 alone, but these reg. values are updated in time. any input change would be updated in these registers.
if you must reset (but why?), you can reset UB964 chip.
