SN65DP159: SN65DP159RSB power consumption

Part Number: SN65DP159

Hello.

I am considering SN65DP159RSB.

I have a question.

Data sheet P9
Data Sheet 7.5 Power Supply In the Electrical Characteristics section there is a description of PD1, PD2.
The temperature of the Max value is Ta = 85 ° C.

Please tell me PD1 (MAX) and PD2 (MAX) at Ta = 40 ℃ and Ta = 50 ℃. (TEST CONDITION is the same as the condition of the date sheet)

Thank you.

  • Hello Ishii-san,

We do not specify a max power consumption for max voltage / room temp conditions. We only specify a max power consumption for worst case conditions (max voltage, high temp).

  • Hello.

    Thank you for answering.

We are currently examining system specifications.
I am doing calculations on the power of the system.
It is a state that we have to suppress electric power as a system.
Therefore, I want to know the values at the temperatures Ta = 50 ° C and Ta = 40 ° C used this time.

Please let me know if results can be obtained by simulation.

    Thank you.
  • We are not able to provide these results by simulation. From similar testing, we see that when running at nominal voltages at 40/50C, power consumption is close to the typical range.
