SN65DP159: RSB package, PIN of TX_TERM_CTL

Hello.

I have a question.

Please look at data sheet P5 of SN65DP159 RSB.

RSB package does not have PIN of TX_TERM_CTL. (It is N / A in the PIN table.)
In this case, what is internal processing like? Which mode mode will be used again?
I think the interior is No Connect, automatically selects the termination impedance OK?

Masazumi,

TX_TERM_CTL can also be controlled through I2C when using the RSB package. See Table 8. HDMI Control for register and bit values.

For the SNx 5DP 159 RSB: TX_TERM_CTL = NC for AUTO Select

When using the RSB package, it was a reply that switching via I2C is mandatory, but is it a mistake?

If you want to use the automatic switching function, will you use the RGZ Package?

Ishii,

There is a mistake in section 10.3.1.

RSB Package does not have a TX_TERM_CTL pin, see Pin Functions table on pages 5 and 6 of datasheet and RSB package figure on page 5. This function is available in RGZ and RSB packages but must be accessed through I2C for RSB package.

Just to clarify, if the RSB package is in pin config mode - TX_TERM_CTL is set to automatic mode. If the RSB package is in I2C mode, TX_TERM_CTL must be set by the registers.
