Hi there:

We'd like to check whether TCA9517A could support SMI interface (MDC upto 20MHz)?

If it couldn't, what's the suggestion we could purpose to customer?

    Hello Kay,

    Our I2C devices were not made to support that high of a frequency. TCA9517A can only support 400kHz and TCA9617B can support up to 1MHz.

    The highest frequency SOME of our I2C devices support is 1MHz. We can not meet 20MHz.
