May I ask that is it normal for me to see the channel switching commend device side.

    Hello,

    Yes, this is normal. When a channel is enabled, data passes between the upstream and downstream I2C ports, and so any communication that occurs on the I2C bus will be passed through. This includes commands to the switch device itself. For this reason, you should be careful in making sure a unique address is used for each device.
