We are trying to read the data from LIS3DSH sensor through i2c by Raspberry Pi.We are using fast mode of i2c and we are getting the samples as per the timings mentioned in datasheet.but the bus free time or the delay from stop bit of one sample to the start bit of next sample is very high(i.e., 100uS). In datasheet it is around 3uS(bus free time).
Please tell me the reason (Is it because of firmware or what) and how to reduce that time delay.
