Looking for MIPI-DSI to HDMI interface bridge

Hello,

I need to convert a MIPI DSI1.2 Signal to a consumer Display with HDMI input. I did not find any way. Is there any solution? Also a way with more than one chip would be okay.

We do not have any solution that could go from DSI to HDMI.

Thanks for the answer. I could also use a CSI 1.1 or open LDI LVDS Interface as Input. Would there be any way to convert this to HDMI?

Hi Philipp,

We have solutions for DSI to HDMI but with a few caveats:

1. The HDMI cannot include audio
2. You will need to use at least 3 parts to accomplish this

Are you okay with the above? If you start with LVDS then the HDMI still cannot include audio but you will need only 2 parts.

I'm interessted in both ways. I could also live with both points. But can I transmitt a resolution higher than full HD?

Hi Philipp,

Sorry for the delay, I missed your reply. I'm not sure if you'll be able to do full HD with our parts for this particular application as it would heavily depend on the pixel clock frequency. To be able to calculate it and see if it's plausible, I would need to know the exact resolution, the frame rate, and the blanking percentage. Do you have these available? In general you could use the below parts to achieve DSI to HDMI and LVDS to HDMI but again, I don't believe the pixel clock frequency (particularly for the DS90CF386) would allow a full HD resolution.

DSI to HDMI:
SN65DSI83/84/85 --> DS90CF386 --> TFP410

LVDS to HDMI:
DS90CF386 --> TFP410
