DS25BR110: AC coupling issue

Hello

                 If apply DS25BR110 to SGMII connection, should we place decoupled capacitors in series on both TX/RX side of redrivers?  Thank you.

    Hi Patrick,

    Since SGMII is an LVDS specification the DS25BR110 may be used directly in most applications of this type.  If the system SGMII components do not support LVDS signaling common mode voltage levels then the AC coupling capacitors may be used.
