Driving the TUSB3410 clock with the 12Mhz calibrated DCO of MSP430F2274?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430F2274, TUSB3410

Hi,

I am going to interface the MSP430F2274 with the TUSB3410 which requires a 12Mhz clock. Can I use the MSP430F2274 12Mhz calibrated DCO generator to drive the TUSB3410 clock via the SMCLK output of the MSP430? The nominal 12Mhz DCO Calibrated clock can vary between 11.64 - 12.36 Mhz. Is this stabiliy sufficient to guarantee a 9600 baud?

This is because I am already using the XIN/XOUT pins of the MSP for a 32.768Khz XTAL used by ACLK.

Best regards,

Michele
