customer is considering Retimer/redriver for SGMII interface because SGMII traces might be >30". Is the  DS25BR110 good to support the SGMII traces ?If yes, Do they need install AC coupling capacitor (like 0.1uF) in DS25BR110 input and output paths?

    Hi Peter,
    Many of our redrivers will work for SGMII applications. The DS25BR110 is a good choice. It is an equalizer, so it should be placed within 10" of the SGMII receiver. Since the DS25BR110 is a LVDS device it should not require AC coupling capacitors.
