DS90UB913A-Q1: AR0140AT and UB913 I2C cannot communicate

Hi,
the UB913a I2C can be linked with the UB914a side?
regarding the i2c over UB913a/ub914a, please refer to app. note in UB913a d/s page47 as below (• I2C over DS90UB913/4 FPD-Link III with Bidirectional Control Channel). You need set the I2C passthough and set the correct I2C alias addr.

Do we have a detailed reference for part 913？

For UB913a, you just need set the I2C pass through in UB914a side, also the remote I2C alias ID should be assigned in UB914a/UB934 side. the operation and reg. setting is shown in below app.note in my.ti.com.

You mean you can't visit UB914a with its attached I2C master?

if yes, pls:

1. make sure the UB914a's I2C addr., what is it?

2. pls capture the I2C reading/writing timing from the I2C master.

HI Steven,

Thanks for the quick response. It is working now. We are able to communicate with DS90UB914.

Now we are not able to communicate with serializer (DS90UB913) over I2C. But we are getting serializer address 0xb0 in 0x06 register of DS90UB914.
When we try to read other parameter of serilizer we are not getting anything. Please help to resolve the issue.

If the i2c pass through is set correctly, and you can set the serializer's alias ID address in UB914a, then you can use this alias ID address to access the serializer's reg.
