DS90UB947-Q1: Can ds90ub947 strip pin without i2c setting

Hello Sirs,

Can ds90ub947 this chip work if mode_sel[1:0] pin and ID pin setting properly  ?  Don't need i2c register setting,right ?

power up sequence follow  1.8V -> 1.1V -> PDB -> open LDI input

power up ramp fast than 1.5ms

Another question is will ds90ub948 have default screen output when 947 link with 948 but no open LDI input to 947 ?

    Hi,

    Yes, UB947 can work automatically with mode_sel in most cases. The power on sequence should be followed up in d/s.

    If no data exists in UB947's LDI port, UB948 has no LDI output as well. but you can set UB947's internal pattern generation to output color bar from UB947's serial port, then UB948 has color bar data in the LDI port.
