Hi Michael-san,

Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately this schedule does not meet the customer schedule.
I have visited the customer today and he is going to start new design from Oct. 2018 and the mass production will be in 2Q/2019.

Hi Toshiro-san,

I am sorry! I need to correct the schedule as below:
tps25831 RTM date : end of Q1 in 2019
tps25830 RTM date : Q2/2019

Do you know customer system application requirement ? If customer is hub and only the charging only we promote tps25831, if customer need data and charging you can promote tps25830 . Is that a hub application or Head unit ?

Michael-san,

thank you for your feedback. while we discuss the application, the customer suggests to use for Type-C BC1.2 selectable with DP/DM data transmition. So TPS25830 would be a best sokution.
However TPS25831 will be a chance to propose, although the schedule is still challenging. Could you share TPS25831-Q1 datasheet with us.
