SN6501-Q1: Multiple Output Configuration

Hello,

Is it doable to form a multiple output configuration with SN6501-Q1? Each output has a LDO which eventually generates more than 5.5 V to its load and the load current of each output will be roughly 10 mA or less. Reserve current protection diodes will be placed between the SN6501-Q1 circuit and each LDO, So, the output voltage of the SN6501-Q1 circuit on the secondary side after rectifiers must be roughly 1 V (V_F + V_DROPOUT) higher than the LDO output.

Yokota-san,

This seems doable since the load current is only 10mA per LDO. Would you be able to be more specific on what LDO output voltages be? This will determine the best turns ratio for this application.

Schulte-san,

I can only say the LDO voltage must be more than 5.5 V. The load current will change from 0 to around 10 mA respectively depending on its operating conditions.

This application should work since the power requirement is low.
