    Kai,

    Yes TUSB8020B is USB3.1 Gen1 compliant however it completed USB compliance testing several years ago.  The USB 3.1 specification has changed in that time (latest specification version is USB 3.2).  While the specification updates do not impact the ability of the TUSB8020B to function as a USB SuperSpeed Hub, the USB-IF still requires all new devices undergoing compliance testing to use silicon compliant to the very latest version of the USB 3.x specification. If the customer is planning to get a USB-IF logo, we recommend them to use the more recent TUSB8044/8043/8042 family of hubs..
