For TM4C1294NCPDT, is it okay for online debugging tools to use regular JLINK? Is there a version requirement?

The support is really more between the debugging tool and J-Link I would think. As long as the debugging tool supports our TM4C device, then it will be fine from a TI device perspective. I can't comment on how an online debugging tool will work with J-Link - though if it's a TI tool then we can inquire with the TI team who owns that tool.
