HD3SS215: Paralleling two devices at the output port

Hi Team,

Regarding the diagram below, I'm thinking about doing it with two TS3DV642 or two HD3SS215.

Now, is it OK to parallel two devices at the output port of either of the two devices? (The orange dashed rectangle)

you are trying to switch signal between HDMI and DP? their termination is different. can you show detailed schematic?

Hi Brian,

There's no detailed schematic as of now since the customer is still selecting components.

From the diagram, the HDMI signals are converted into DP signals before entering the switch so I think the application is all about DP signals.

Could you please point out the concerns you have?? And do you think there's any problem about paralleling two devices at the output?

it could be signal integrity issue >5G if you parallel two devices together
