Please refer to section 7 of the EVM user guide for scrip example. You need to load script in order to use the EVM.

In datasheet, it's said:
"Software must either through the DSI interface or I2C interface enable ASSR in the eDP panel before attempting to link train."
So it's loaded to the panel, not the device itself, right?

So the panel must be connected to the board to load the script, right?

ASSR in the eDP panel is enabled by writing to DSI86 register 0x64 through 0x73 and the panel is connected to DSI86.

But beside programming ASSR, you also need to program DSI86 as shown in section 7 of the script example.
