Hi,
Now I'm designing PCB board with 913-914 chip set.
Connecter has 4 pin type so that 2pins use for SerDES but other 2 pins are not use.
The wire is exist all 4 pins even 2 pins are not use (pin1 and 2 in the drawing).
How should we handle these un-use 2pins ?
Put one pair (913 side) connect to GND.

Thank you for prompt answer.
Can I ask something more. The distance between 2 chips are about 4m so that
GND potential might be slight difference (<5mV??).
In case that we connected un-use pins to GND shield, current flow might be
generated due to the different potential. Is it O.K from EMC or other effect point of view ?
One more, do we need terminal resister as dummy between Pin1 and 2 like we have in deserializer.
