TCA6408A: High Level at the condition of "High than 3V"

Hi Team,

I plan to use the I/O extender of "TCA6408A" to detect the Photo-INT sensor which require at the codition of "the output level higher than 3V" .

Did anyobne have best -fit design for this requirement except to add the "INVERTER" before the I/O pin ?

    Hey Jackie,

    Could you provide a block diagram and maybe the device number of the photo sensor? (please provide Vcci and Vccp voltages as well )

    I am a little confused about this question and I am not sure if you are asking if there is a way to make the TCA6408A ViH higher than 3V (in this case our port would be an input) or if you are trying to make the sensor see something higher than 3V (you want to use TCA6408A port as an output).
