Hi,

We are using NXP PCA9548 and it has its own driver in Linux.

We are wondering if TI TCA9548APWR has its own driver, too?

Or we can just share PCA8548 diver?

TCA9548APWR and PCA9548 are pin to pin, we want to change to TI part without software effort.

Hey Steve,

Is the PCA9548 from NXP the non A version or the A version? I can compare datasheets and see if the driver would work.

Just at a glance at the A version, I would say it (the driver) should be compatible with ours.

I think it is 'A'version, the complete part number is PCA9548APW.

Hey Steve,

Thanks for clarifying.

This means our device is a 100% direct replacement, it will have the same pinout and functionality. The registers are the same as well as how to interface/address them.

The driver you use for the nxp part should work for our device without issues.
