DP83867IR: linkup time

Our customer ask us about linkup time. It is at 100BASE-TX mode.

It takes 3 min until linkup since reset. How can we reduce that initialize time? 3 min is too long.

If it is auto-negotiation mode, it is linkup as soon as it is reset (initialize). We need to set at 100BASE-TX mode because end customer decided.

Hi Koji-san,

If Link Partner is always in 100Base-TX mode, 867 auto-negotiation capabilities can also be configured for 100Base-TX only. It will help to directly negotiate the link at 100M.

Can you also check the link time when linking with 1G Link Partner ?
