DP83620: Unable to access the DP83620 EVK using the MSP-EXP430F5529LP development kit using the MDIO tool

Hello TI,

As per the discussion over thread:

I am now trying to connect the DP83620 EVK using the MSP-EXP430F5529LP board however I am unable to do so and the tool is unable is find the PHY ID.

On the EVK I have manually set the PHY ID to 30 and this is not getting recognized by the tool , also tried using the "Find PHY ID" option in the tool.

I am attaching the connection image for reference and to make sure i am not doing wrong here.

1. Can I monitor the MDIO and MDC signal in this configuration using a scope. (Currently there is no activity on these two lines)

2. Am I suppose to connect the EVK to the CPU board that I am working with and connect the MSP-EXP430F5529LP parallely to the MDIO and MDC.?
