DS90UB947-Q1: DS90UB947-Q1 register configuration problem

Part Number: DS90UB947-Q1

Debug DS90UB947-Q1 encountered unable to light Deserializer end LVDS problem. LVDS 24 bit 1920*720 SPWG mapping, Twisted Pair.

Debugging found that the 0x0c register value is 4, suspected that the fpdlink did not connect to the successful reason, may be where the problem? It is normal for cable and Deserializer terminal devices to be verified on other machines.

0x0c register bit0 LINK detect status can be used to determine the connection? The default is Twisted Pair after boot. If you don't configure any registers, you should be able to reflect the connection status of the Deserializer end, right?

The following are the main register values:

  • Hi,

from the reg.0x0c, it said that the cable between ser and de-ser is NOT detected which should be detected once the cable is inserted correctly without the need of any reg. setting. so firstly pls check the cable carefully.

also, pls check which FPD-Link port is used in your case? you should match the corresponding port well based on d/s description.

    regards,

    Steven
