DS25BR204: Unstable output signal

Hello,

I'm working on a LVDS repeater DS25BR204. I am having a hard time getting a stable output signal. My input signal is 0.8 - 2.0V 10 MHz. Should the input voltage have less swing, or should frequency be higher.

Hi David,

Maximum differential input voltage is 1V.
Also, as long as you are DC coupling 10MHz should be fine.

There is where I get confuse in the datasheet. It said VIL max is 0.8, VIH min is 2.0. but then max differential is 1V.

Hi David,

VIL max = 0.8V and VIH min = 2.0V are for LVCMOS inputs. Meanwhile 1V max differential input is for the high speed LVDS inputs.
