TUSB1002A: About MODE pin

Hi Team,

We would like to know the MODE function.

We understand that;

If MODE is “F”, TUSB2001A can support USB3.2 Source (DFP) and Sink (UFP) applications but can’t USB3.0 applications.

If MODE is “0”, TUSB2001A can support USB3.0 application but can’t USB3.2 applications

Is my understanding correct?

Mode = "0" means non-USB application as long as the application can meet TUSB1002A RX input and TX output electrical requirement.

Hi David-san,

Thank you for the information.

I have one more question.

I understand that if USB3.2 and device only, a recommended setting is “F” and if non USB spec device, a recommended setting is “0”.

If USB3.0 and USB3.1 device, could you please let us know a recommended setting?

Mode pin will be 'F' for dual channel USB operation, or '1' for single channel USB operation.
