TPS65987D: Which Ref Design to follow?

Hi guys,

Customer is designing in TPS65987D to their product for a Dual Role product. They are confused because they are referencing our EVM, and also this reference design:

So these designs are using different GPIOs for different things, so my customer is a bit confused about which design is the one they should follow, specifically which GPIOs to use for orientation.

    Hi Brian,

    You can follow either reference design. The GPIOs on the TPS6587D are fully configurable. You can change their configurations using the TPS6598x Application Customization Tool.
