TMDS442: About multiplexer

Hello,

 

Regarding to multiplexer on TMDS442 , my customer is asking a question.　

 

(Question)

They understand as following about signal switching.

For example,

TMDS Rx port1 -> TMDS Tx port2

TMDS Rx port3 -> TMDS Tx port1

 

Or

TMDS Rx port2 -> TMDS Tx port1

TMDS Rx port2 -> TMDS Tx port2

 

Their understanding is correct?

If so, is each signal able to switch at same time?

    TMDS Rx port1 -> TMDS Tx port1 or TMDS Tx port2
    or TMDS Rx port2 -> TMDS Tx port1 or TMDS Tx port2

    Thank you for replay.

    I informed configuration of multiplexer to my customer.

    I have an additional question.

    Can TMDS Tx port1 and Tx port2 output at same time?

    For example,

    TMDS Rx port1     -> TMDS Tx port1

                                -> TMDS Tx port2

     

    According to description of sink port register and bit address on datasheet(page 27,28),

    I think that two Tx port1(1/2) can output at same time.

    My understand is correct?

    Just in case, I'm asking about that.

    TMDS Tx port1 and TMDS Tx port2 can output at same time, but not from the same source
